						ORDERING AND SHIPPING INFORMATION Taxes Prices do not include Goods and Services tax, Provincial Sales tax or freight. Ontario clients must either add Provincial sales tax or supply an exemption certificate. All items are shipped F.O.B. our shop in Toronto, Ontario. U.S. shipments are currently exempt all Canadian taxes but are subject to U.S. customs duty and brokerage fees. Handling Charges Mouldings are shipped in wooden crates and packed with wood excelsior. They are packed to avoid damage in shipping, storing or handling. Handling charges for individual orders are calculated separately. Freight Orders must be pre-paid before shipping. Custom items require a deposit or may be paid in full before shipment. Freight carriers used are insured for the amount of bill of lading. Claims for loss or damage in transit are to be filed with the carrier. Ordering Specify Classic Moulding item number and quantity. Measure the perimeter of the room adding 1 or 2 feet extra per corner or offset for waste in mitering. Also consider any waste in the pattern match. Include delivery and invoice address and all relevant information. Please supply a telephone number where you may be reached for us to clarify any item in your order. Scheduling Note that mouldings are installed after priming and before final painting, so allow at least 8 weeks before delivery and after receipt of your order and payment. Finishes Mouldings are porous until painted, and should be finished, when installation has dried thoroughly, with oil-base or latex paint, stain, varnish, shellac or a special finish. Installation Installation costs are not included in the cost of the item. Quotations for installation will be provided upon receipt of all relevant information. Custom Items Any moulding or combination of mouldings can be made. Please provide all relevant measurements, and include a sketch or photo if possible. Restoration Provide us with an intact sample of a moulding to be restored or an exact template of the profile if it is a plain moulding without ornament. A quotation will be supplied. Standard Radius Curves Cornices as well as door and window casings can be prepared to fit curved surfaces. When ordering these specialty items, either one of our standard mouldings may be selected or a profile of your choice can be duplicated into the curved shape required. For standard radius curves, give the radius; for non-standard curves, supply a template indicating which is the ceiling and wall sides. Please specify whether the curve is an inside or outside wall surface. Minimum Quantities Lineal Mouldings Prices for cornices, friezes and panel mouldings indicate cost per lineal foot. All lineal types of mouldings come in set lengths that, depending upon the design, range anywhere from 5'-6" to 7'-0". Classic Mouldings does not cut lengths to order. The lineal footage you require will be filled to the nearest length, with an adequate percentage of material allowed for waste. Classic Mouldings does not process lineal footage orders (cornices, friezes, panel mouldings) for less than 65 lineal feet per item number. Ceiling Centres Classic Mouldings does not process ceiling centre orders for less than four (4) pieces per item number. Brackets/Corbels Classic Mouldings does not process bracket orders for less than six (6) pieces per item number. A number of designs are not sold as “supply only”, and must be installed by a Classic Moulding installation representative. Miscellaneous Enrichments We reserve the right to withhold the sale of any enrichment to a client. Samples Samples of a number of items will not be available. Credit Unless a customer has established a credit account, all orders may be paid by: • cash • company cheque • personal cheque (with proper identification) • Visa • MC Where payment is made on delivery of goods, only certified cheques, cash or money orders can be accepted. Should the volume of purchases require an account, credit applications are available from our office. Once a fully completed and signed application is returned, please allow a minimum of one week for processing. All new accounts will be acknowledged by letter and/or fax. Custom Mouldings: Returns/Claims All returns must be authorized in advance and are subject to a restocking charge. Only unused, uncut mouldings will be considered for credit. There is no return/credit allowed on any custom or special order moulding. Any claim for damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to be considered for credit/exchange.
